Havre Police Department

A 2:28 p.m. Tuesday caller on Sixth Street reported receiving a fraudulent check in the mail.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Saddle Butte Drive caller reported Tuesday at 4:21 p.m. two dogs that had been barking for two days.

A vehicle crash was reported on First Street at 5:54 p.m. Tuesday.

Havre Police also received several calls in the 24-hour reporting period about stray cats and stray and nuisance dogs, including two dogs chasing a cat.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Janetta Sandra Thunderhawk of Havre, 39, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Tuesday at 9:18 a.m.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at Box Elder Fire Department Tuesday at 10:19 a.m.

Martin James Koop of Havre, 29, was served three Justice or City court warrants Tuesday at 2:09 p.m. while being held at the detention.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to six calls Tuesday and three calls this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held two 7-month-old kittens, one 19-week-old kitten and three female cats.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held three female mixed-breed dogs, five puppies between 17 weeks and 9 months old, and a female and a male Rottweiler. Additionally, two puppies, ages 20 weeks and 5 months, were being housed offsite.
