A 14-year-old was issued a summons on charges of theft, trespass to property and probation violation after a caller on Fifth Avenue reported Thursday at 8:04 a.m. that a motorcycle had been stolen.

Martin Duane Flying Jr. of Havre, 31, was issued a summons on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program no-show reported Thursday at 8:06 a.m. Flying was then arrested at City Court at 10:50 a.m. on a charge of violation of conditions of release.

Someone stopped at the police station at 1:50 p.m. Thursday to drop off a wallet and phone cord found on top of a car.

Hill County Sheriff's Office
Jennifer Ann Brockett of Havre, 39, was served a state District Court warrant at Hill County Detention Center Thursday at 11:45 a.m.

An arrest was made after deputies were asked Thursday at 4:27 p.m. to assist Rocky Boy police east of Boneau Village on Rocky Boy Indian Reservation. Details were not available in the dispatch log.
Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Thursday.

Firefighters responded to a Thursday 1:02 p.m. report of a fuel spill on the 1400 Block of First Street where a gas pump had been left unattended while fueling and the nozzle failed to shut off, Havre Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said, adding that firefighters spread absorbent material on the spill and employees did the final clean-up later.

Firefighters also responded to a fire alarm to the 10 Block of 13th Street, but that was a false alarm, Courtnage said, caused by oven cleaning spray setting off the alarm.
Havre Animal Shelter
This morning the animal shelter held two 6-month-old kittens and two 15-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, four female cats, seven kittens between 14 weeks and 6 months old, and two male cats.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held four female mixed-breed dogs, 15 puppies between 8 weeks and 6 months old, a female and a male Rottweiler, and a female German shepherd. Additionally, two puppies, ages 18-weeks and 23-weeks, were being housed offsite.
