Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Thursday, three calls Friday, four calls Saturday, four calls Sunday and one call early this morning.

Firefighters, along with an ambulance, responded a vehicle crash on the 100 Block of First Street at 5 p.m. Saturday. Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said four patients were seen, but no one required transport.

Firefighters, along with an ambulance, responded Saturday at 6:24 p.m., Courtnage said, to a fire alarm on the 10 Block of Third Street where heat from cooking had set off a fire alarm, which was then reset.

Havre Animal Shelter
This morning the animal shelter held four 6-month-old kittens, two 14-week-old kittens and one cat all of unknown gender, four female cats, eight kittens between 14 weeks and 6 months old, and one male cat.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held four female mixed-breed dogs, seven puppies between 14 weeks and 6 months old, a male and a female Rottweiler, and a female German shepherd. Additionally, two puppies, ages 17-weeks and 22-weeks, were being housed offsite.
