Several HHS football players earn All-State honors

After a season that saw the Havre High football team make a run all the way to the Class A playoff semifinals, several Blue Ponies were recognized for their contributions this season.

On the Class A All-State team, Jacob Herring, Colter Solomon, Tre Gary and Brisbin Reiter all represented the Ponies. Herring had a great season on both sides of the ball as he earned First Team All-Conference honors as both a tight end and as an outside linebacker.

Solomon also made an impact on both offense and defense as he was named First Team All-Conference as a strong safety and he earned Second Team All-Conference honors as a wide receiver.

Gary excelled this fall as he earned First Team All-Conference honors as both a wide receiver and as a cornerback. Reiter played well at inside linebacker for the Ponies where he was named First Team All-Conference.

Several other Ponies were recognized for their play this past season, as well. On offense, several players earned First Team All-Conference honors such as Tate Nelson at running back, Gage Chapman at tackle and Tommy Lewis at guard. Brandon Healy earned Second Team All-Conference honors as a tackle and quarterback Griffin Terry was named Honorable Mention All-Conference.

On defense, Chris Bell earned First Team All-Conference honors as a defensive end. Mason Wilting earned Second Team All-Conference honors as a defensive tackle and Carson Harris was named Honorable Mention All-Conference as a free safety.

The Ponies are coming off a season that ended just one game away from the Class A State championship game. With several of these players returning, the Ponies are set up to stay competitive next season in Class A football.
