Havre Police Department

A Wednesday 2:47 p.m. caller reported a window broken out on a First Avenue residence.

Zayne Matthew Collins of Havre, 30, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a beer theft was reported at a First Street West business Wednesday at 4:51 p.m.

Tyler Roy Lawrence of Havre, 30, was issued a summons on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation reported at 8:49 a.m. Thursday at the police station.

Elmo Francis Baily Jr. of Havre, 58, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property and on three Justice or City court warrants after a caller on First Street reported at 12:14 p.m. being threatened by a man and at 1:21 p.m. reported that the man had come back and was behind a Fourth Avenue business.

Royce Lassiter Raining Bird Jarvey of Havre, 18, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence-refused to test, reckless driving, seat belt violation and minor in possession after a vehicle stop on Third Street at 12:35 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported on U.S. Highway 87 Thursday at 1:04 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Wednesday and one call early Thursday morning. The call log from Thursday morning to this morning was unavailable by print deadline today.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held two 6-month-old kittens, four 13-week-old kittens and one cat all of unknown gender, three female cats, six kittens between 12 weeks and 6 months old, and two male cats.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held five female mixed-breed dogs, 11 puppies between 12 and 19 weeks old, and a female German shepherd. Additionally, two puppies, one 16-weeks-old and the other 21-weeks-old, were being housed offsite.
