Michael Keith Healy Jr. of Harlem, 25, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants served on First Avenue Monday at 9:44 a.m.

A 16-year-old girl was issued a summons on a charge of underage tobacco possession or consumption after a juvenile with a vape pen was reported at Havre High School at 11:38 a.m. Monday.

Fred Nashookpuk of Havre, 38, was arrested on a charge of violation of a no contact order after a 12:05 p.m. Monday caller reported a man and a woman drinking alcohol from a bottle at Pepin Park on Seventh Avenue.

A vehicle crash was reported at 12:17 p.m. Monday on First Street West, and officers assisted with transporting one person to another location.

Christopher Henry Joseph Wood of Havre, 28, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a domestic disturbance with one person bleeding from their arm was reported on 15th Avenue at 1:07 p.m. Monday.

Officers assisted Havre Fire Department Monday at 5:16 p.m. on Washington Avenue where a fire pit was reported to be overflowing.

Lowanda Lynn Arkinson of Box Elder, 51, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge and on three Justice or City court warrants after a caller at a Second Street business reported two women outside drinking.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Monday 7:13 p.m. caller at a First Street West business asked to have officers tell someone to stop panhandling at the business.

Martin Duane Flying Jr. of Havre, 31, was arrested on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program no-show reported at 8 p.m. at the police station.

Gordon James Bacon of Box Elder, 44, was arrested on charges of trespass to property, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers assisted Havre Fire Monday at 8:55 p.m. on an ambulance call to a First Street business.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a Monday 2:58 p.m. report from Bullhook Community Health Center that a person had been bitten by their own dog.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to 10 calls Monday.

Firefighters responded to an 11:07 a.m. Monday fire alarm on the 10 Block of Third Street West where they found burnt food and the alarm was reset.

Firefighters, along with an ambulance crew, responded Monday at 12:19 p.m. to a vehicle crash on the 100 Block of First Street West where three patients were looked at on scene and no one was transported to medical care, and the fire crew stayed on site until the highway department could spread sand on oil and coolant that had spilled at the scene.

Firefighters and an ambulance responded to a Monday 5:16 p.m. report of a fire on Washington Avenue, but they found that the pit was legal and they returned to the station.

Firefighters and an ambulance crew responded to a 5:40 p.m. Monday carbon monoxide alarm on the 700 Block of Fourth Avenue where gas was detected in the basement and the scene was turned over to NorthWestern Energy.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held two 6-month-old kittens and one cat all of unknown gender, six female cats, three male cats, and six kittens between 12 weeks and 6 months old.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held five female mixed-breed dogs, 11 puppies between 12 and 18 weeks old, and a female German shepherd.

Births

A girl was born Friday, Nov. 10, 2023, to Kayla and Layne Waid of Havre.
