Havre schools deals with water main break at Sunnyside school

While the City of Havre was dealing with one water main break on Second Street West, another water main break caused some issues for Havre Public Schools.

Havre Superintendent Brian Gum said in an emailed announcement that the break means that Sunnyside Intermediate School and no water this morning.

In effort to keep all our students in a safe and healthy situation, we will bus all students at Sunnyside once they arrive to Havre High School and Havre Middle School," Gum said in the release. Fourth grade students will be in classrooms at Havre High School and fifth grade students will be in classrooms at Havre Middle School.

"If the water is restored before the end of the day, we will transport students back to Sunnyside for their normal pick up," Gum said. If water is not restored in enough time to accommodate this situation, pick up will occur directly from those locations.
