Havre Police Department

Jess T. Kirkaldie of Hays, 25, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a 10:15 a.m. Thursday caller reported a man underdressed for the weather and in "rough shape" walking along U.S. Highway 2 East.

Arlene Cheri Parrish of Lodge Pole, 40, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license after a vehicle a stop Thursday at 2:35 p.m. on First Avenue.

Mayme Jean Healy of Dodson, 59, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license after a vehicle stop on Second Street Thursday at 3:10 p.m.

A caller asked officers Thursday at 4:14 p.m. to perform a welfare check on someone on Third Avenue, and officers made a transport to the hospital.

A past theft was reported at 4:23 p.m. Thursday at a First Street business.

Neal Wayne Anderson of Havre, 65, was arrested on a trespass to property charge after a 15th Avenue caller reported Thursday at 5:46 p.m. returning home to find a man laying in the caller's bed.

A Thursday 6:35 p.m. caller on First Street reported their car had been backed into.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A two-vehicle crash reported Thursday at 9:34 a.m. on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest was referred to Montana Highway Patrol.

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported at 11:50 a.m. Thursday that four tires had been stolen.

--

Krystyna Daychild of Havre, 30, was arrested on nine Justice or City court warrants served after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported at 12:01 p.m. Thursday seeing a woman with outstanding warrants.

A theft was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business at 2:38 p.m. Thursday.

--

A residential break-in was reported at 7:09 p.m. Thursday in Box Elder.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to seven calls Thursday and one call early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 2 East Thursday at 9:42 a.m. Havre Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said two patients were looked at but neither required transport.

Firefighters also assisted with rescuing a cat stuck in an attic on 10th Avenue Thursday at 10:07 a.m. Courtnage said the cat was lured out into the open with food.

Firefighters also responded to a report of a gas leak on Fifth Street at 1:39 p.m. Thursday. A small leak was found near the furnace and the scene was turned over to NorthWestern Energy crews.

--

Tuesday, EMTs responded to six calls and firefighters responded to a fire alarm on the 10 Block of Third Street West that turned out to be burnt food and the alarm was reset.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held two 6-month-old kittens and five cats all of unknown gender, three female cats, three male cats, and six kittens between 11 weeks and 6 months old.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held five female mixed-breed dogs, 11 puppies between 11 and 18 weeks old, and a female German shepherd.
