North Star Knights win drama sweeps trophy at C-J-I

The North Star Knights traveled a bit westward this past Veterans Day, to compete in the C-J-I Invitational speech, drama and debate meet. 

The team represented North Star well in both speech and drama.

In drama, Christin Berton and Aspynn Cramer placed second in dramatic theatre, Joshua Campbell and Cooper Clawson placed second in humorous theatre and Emily Conner took third in dramatic solo, leading North Star to take first in drama sweeps.

In speech, Troy Barrett took second in humorous interpretation, Ecko Fraser took first in original oratory and Savannah Schaumloeffel placed fifth in Original Oratory. 

Overall, the Knights took fourth in speech sweeps.

“Congratulations Knights and good luck/break a leg in Browning next weekend,” a release said.
