Middle school lists October students of the month

Havre Middle school's Sixth-Grade Student of the Month for October is Roxi Turntoes-Kuhnhenn.

Roxi is the daughter of Kyle and Kerry Shabi. She has two brothers, Ryden and Henry Turntoes.

At school, Roxi participates in choir and plans to join track in the Spring. Outside of school, she is involved with basketball, soccer and softball. In her free time, she enjoys traditional dancing at Powwows and spending time with family.

As a student, Roxi is kind and always exceeding expectations. She is an active learner who participates in classes and works to her fullest potential. Her willingness to help others and pleasant personality models what "Pony Pride" looks like at Havre Middle School.

In the future, Roxi plans to attend college and play basketball.

October's Seventh-Grade Student of the Month is Paisley Burr.

Paisley is the daughter of Nate and Kristi Burr. She has two brothers, Wyatt and Vance Burr.

Paisley participates in choir, track and basketball. Outside of school, she spends time horseback riding, reading and crocheting. In her spare time, Paisley likes to relax and have fun with her family.

In the classroom, Paisley is always upbeat and has a positive attitude. She is a leader who sparks others to follow in a positive direction. Her tremendous work ethic and high standards make her stand out as an exceptional student at HMS.

Paisley aspires to become a lawyer or writer.

Makena Albertson is HMS' Eighth-Grade Student of the Month for October.

Makena is the daughter of James and Stephanie Albertson. She has four siblings, Kathryn, Penelope, Theodora and Jeremiah Albertson.

At school, Makena sings in the choir. Outside of school, she is very active in MAT theater activities and youth group.

In her free time, she enjoys hunting, reading and swimming.

Makena is a polite and respectful student who goes above and beyond what is expected. She is always helpful and supportive of her classmates when they need assistance. Makena is a joy to be around and makes the middle school a great place for everyone.

In the future, Makena plans to attend college to become a teacher.
