Havre Elks organizing blanket and coat drives

Havre Elks Lodge No. 1201 is organizing its Blanket Drive and a Coat Drive for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, and is recruiting recipients for the bedding and coats as well as donations for both drives.

If people would like to sign up themselves, their family, friends or someone in need of blankets, comforters, sheets and other bedding, or for coats for all ages and sizes, they can call Brandy Kurtz at 406-390-0091.

The first distribution of bedding and coats is Nov. 15 and the second is Dec. 13 in the Havre Elks’ Lodge Room.

Donations of clean used or new bedding of all kinds and coats for everyone from babies to kids to adults will be accepted Monday through Friday at Western Trailer Sales, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Havre Elks Lodge, 5-8 p.m.
