Havre Daily News staff

A Havre man was arrested early Saturday after leading Havre Police officers on a chase that started on 12th Avenue and on Beaver Creek Highway.

Police Capt. Ryan Pearson said officers observed a driver make a turn without signaling and as they followed the vehicle the driver, Triston Alexander Ehry, started driving above the speed limit. At this point officers attempted to stop Ehry, but continued at a high rate of speed, leading officers on a pursuit south on Beaver Creek Highway.

Pearson said Rocky Boy Police officers assisted Havre Police by deploying spike strips on the highway and this assistance ended the pursuit near mile marker 19, where Ehry was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, felony endangerment, fleeing or eluding, reckless driving, speeding, stop sign violation and no vehicle insurance. Ehry was listed in the jail roster this morning as being held on $20,000 bond.

Pearson added that no one was injured in the pursuit.
