An arrest was made after a 12:15 a.m. Saturday vehicle stop on 12th Avenue. Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Friday, five calls Saturday and one call early this morning.

Firefighters responded to an alarm at a business on the 600 Block of First Street West where they found someone had dropped garbage near a heating element for the sauna and the garbage was producing smoke.
Havre Animal Shelter
This morning the animal shelter held eight 8-week-old kittens and one 11-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, six female cats and three male cats.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held one male 6-month-old puppy, five female dogs, 11 puppies between 8 and 24 weeks old, and a male 7-month-old puppy. Additionally, two 17-week-old puppies and one 11-week-old puppy were being housed off-site.
