This year's Beaver Creek Jam at the Great Northern Fairgrounds drew a crowd of music lovers Saturday to hear bands, including local artists, play in the Bigger Better Barn.
The night was filled with classic rock and a bit of metal music along with food, games and giveaways, and attendees gave the event good reviews.
"It was good this year," said Mike Peterson. " ... It was a good time."
Among the bands that played were popular '60s-style rock band Blue Tattoo, Deep Purple tribute band Purple Evolution and Rail, a rock band that has toured with artists like Van Halen, Heart, Blue Öyster Cult and The Beach Boys.
Attendees were also treated to a pair of local bands in Vic and the Rattleheads along with Shania Twain Derailment.
Ryan and Jenn McLean, another couple of showgoers, said this was their first Beaver Creek Jam and they wanted to come support Shania Twain Derailment especially.
"It's been great, it's been awesome," Ryan McLean said.
