Obituary - Marla Kay Warford

Marla Kay Warford passed away Oct. 6, 2023, in Tampa, Florida, due to medical complications.

Born Dec. 7, 1956, and raised by Lucile and Oris Warford in Miles City, Marla's biological fatherwas Bill Viall.

She graduated from CCDHS. Marla worked at the movie theaters, Holy Rosary Hospital, Primary Children's Hospital and retired from an extensive career with the State of Montana in 2014. Her greatest joy and accomplishment was being a wonderful single mother to her son, Jared.

Marla relocated to Havre in 1988 with her mother and son; she donated many hours to volunteer activities. She had a strong faith in family and God. Marla enjoyed playing cards and games with family.

In 2014, she moved to Florida to be with Jared, his wife, Dawn, and grandchildren, Evan and Audrey. Marla enjoyed her yearly trips to Montana to see family and friends. She was known as Auntie Mar or Auntie MoeMoe by nieces, nephews, greatnieces and greatnephews.

Marla was preceded in death by her parents, sister Paula, stepsister Diane, sisters-in-law Margo and Sherry, niece Fawn, great-niece Molly, nephews Keenan and Trayton.

Marla is survived by her son, Jared (Dawn), grandchildren, Evan and Audrey; brothers, Jim (Sarah) and Don/Buzzy, sisters Becky (Travis) and Brenda (Jim); step-brothers Herb (Sue), Hugh (Onja), Price; nephews, Josh, Weston and Brandon; nieces Aria, Eva, Buck, Amanda, Denell, Amber, Kinder, Kaycee, Kelsey, Laura and Sammy.

A celebration of life will be October 28th, 2023, at the 5th Avenue Christian Church, Havre, MT.
