Havre Police Department

A Wednesday 8:57 a.m. caller reported a burglary on Third Street.

Acoya Nathan Gopher of Box Elder, 25, was arrested on a shoplifting charge after a theft was reported at a Second Street business Wednesday at 10:35 a.m.

A lawnmower theft was reported Wednesday at 11:35 a.m. on Thompson Street.

--

Orchid Leraeadrianna Davis was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a theft was reported at 1:04 p.m. Wednesday.

--

Someone stopped at the police station to report a fraud incident Wednesday at 4:51 p.m.

John Joseph Bear Jr. of Havre, 35, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge after an assault was reported at 4:58 p.m. Wednesday on Third Street.

Travis Dillon Granger of Havre, 34, was issued a summons on a vandalism charge after a Fifth Street caller asked Wednesday at 8:38 p.m. for assistance from officers.

An assault was reported at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday at the police station.

Hill County Sheriff's Officer

Deputies provided assistance after a caller reported a wounded coyote along U.S. Highway 2 West Wednesday at 7:56 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to seven calls Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held two cats of unknown gender, four female cats, three male cats, a male 16-week-old kitten and a male 9-week-old kitten.

Also this morning the animal shelter held five 11-week-old puppies, five female mixed-breed dogs, a male 6-month-old puppy, a female German shepherd, a male 22-week-old puppy, a female 13-week-old puppy and a female 16-week-old puppy. Additionally, a male dog was being housed off-site.
