Jessie F. Kloppenburg, 91, passed away due to natural causes at her residence Wednesday, October 4, 2023.
Cremation has taken place, and memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2023, at Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel with Deacon Tim Maroney officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
Jessie's family has suggested memorial donations be made in her memory to St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church or a charity of the donor's choice. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.

Jessie was born December 30, 1931, in Taft, CA, to Delbert and Jessie (Mullen) Bullock. She was raised in Basin, MT, graduating from Jefferson High School in Boulder. She met John A. Kloppenburg, and the couple married March 2, 1950. They had two children before relocating to Havre in 1957, where they had two more. Jessie worked as a cook at the Boulder State School, Clyde's In & Out, Sacred Heart Hospital and Northern Montana Hospital, and also as a dietary aide at Northern Montana Hospital. In 1984, the couple moved to Billings, and they retired in 1989 and returned to Havre.
Jessie loved reading and cooking. She enjoyed watching "Jeopardy," working crossword puzzles, knitting, crocheting, ceramics, and making dolls and sewing clothes for them. Jessie was a wonderful grandma who adored her family and celebrating Christmas with them was treasured. She also enjoyed traveling with John.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Kloppenburg; parents, Delbert and Jessie Bullock; brothers, Delbert "Happy" (Sharon) Bullock, John (Arla) Bullock, and Chester (Rose) Bullock; and parents-in-law, Augustine "Gus" and Margaret (Kennedy) Kloppenburg.
Jessie is survived by her children, Karen (Terry) Pollington and Rhonda (Gary) Gregoire, all of Havre, Lynnette (Bob) Maes of Anaconda, and Scott (Brenda) Kloppenburg of Kremlin; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
