Havre Police Department

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller at a First Street West business reported Wednesday at 7:25 a.m. that a man was sleeping in the dumpster and had been asked several times to leave.

Forrest Rainspirit Doney of Havre, 29, was arrested on a criminal contempt charge after a complaint was made at the police station Wednesday at 7:52 a.m.

A found mountain bike was reported Wednesday at 10:02 a.m. on Fourth Avenue.

--

A caller reported a found bike on Sixth Avenue at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday.

--

Kenneth Eugene Wood Jr. of Montana, 58, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and no vehicle insurance after a vehicle stop in the alley between Second and First streets. at 1:54 p.m. Wednesday.

Zona Anne McConnell of Havre, 54, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a First Street business reported a theft Wednesday at 2:36 p.m.

Officers assisted Havre Fire Department Wednesday at 7:06 p.m.

--

The theft of a vehicle that was loaned out and not returned was reported Wednesday at 7:51 p.m. in the Havre area.

Officers were asked Wednesday at 9:11 p.m. to assist Blaine County Sheriff's Office.

A 5:53 a.m. burglary alarm at a First Street West business turned out to be a false alarm.

Hill County Sheriff's Officer

Vandalism was reported in North Havre at 9:56 a.m. Wednesday.

Garrett Odell Webb of Havre, 31, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at the sheriff's office at 2:14 p.m. Wednesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Wednesday and firefighters responded to a 7:02 p.m. fire alarm activation on the 10 Block of 13th Street West.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held three cats of unknown gender, five female cats, four male cats, a male 15-week-old kitten and a male 7-week-old kitten.

Also this morning the animal shelter held a male border collie, eight female mixed-breed dogs, a male pit bull-mastiff cross, a male mixed-breed dog, a female German shepherd, a male 21-week-old puppy, five 10-week-old puppies, a male 6-month-old puppy and a female 15-week-old puppy. Additionally, three 19-week-old puppies and a male dog were being housed off-site.
