Police confirm homicide at Fort Belknap

Fort Belknap Chief of Police Josh Roberge confirmed this morning that a homicide occurred on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation over the weekend but couldn’t provide details.

Roberge said he couldn’t say more about the incident than confirming its occurrence, and directed all questions to Fort Belknap Public Relations Officer Camille Stein.

This morning Stein said she doesn’t know enough about what happened yet to provide any additional information, but that she would provide details as soon as she is able, possibly by this afternoon.
