Havre Police Department

Martin Duane Flying Jr. of Havre, 31, was issued a summons on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program no-show reported Wednesday at 8:04 a.m. at the police station.

A non-injury vehicle crash was reported on 14th Street at 9:36 a.m. Wednesday.

A summons was issued after a caller at Havre Middle School reported a student with a vape pen Wednesday at 11:43 a.m.

A non-injury vehicle crash was reported Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Second Street and Montana Avenue.

--

A 3:22 p.m. Wednesday caller dropped off two dogs with no known owner at Havre Animal Shelter.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller at First Street and Seventh Avenue reported a man with a bullhorn was using profane language at passing motorists at 3:46 p.m. Wednesday

Edgar Benjeamin Johnson Jr. of Harlem, 55, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller at 4:07 p.m. Wednesday asked for assistance with a person in their house.

A theft was reported Wednesday at 4:49 p.m. on Fifth Street.

A Wednesday 5:26 p.m. caller reported a wallet was stolen on Fifth Avenue.

Aaron Carl Lamere of Havre, 18, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and a 16-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of no driver's license after a caller on First Street West reported Wednesday at 6:27 p.m. that a vehicle struck a pedestrian.

Hill County Sheriff's Officer

A Wednesday 1:33 p.m. caller reported finding a ring in the parking lot at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to seven calls Wednesday.

Firefighters responded to three calls Wednesday with an ambulance - a two-vehicle crash on Fifth Avenue at 9:39 a.m., a vehicle crash on Montana Avenue at 3:03 p.m. and a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash on First Street West at 6:29 p.m.

A fire crew also responded to a Wednesday 9:05 p.m. alarm on the 10 Block of 13th Street West where no fire was found and they reset the alarm.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held three cats and three 7-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, three female cats and two male cats.

Also this morning the animal shelter held a male border collie, seven female mixed-breed dogs, a male mixed-breed dog, a female German shepherd, five 20-week-old puppies, six 21-week-old puppies and a male 6-month-old puppy. Additionally, three 18-week-old puppies and a male dog were being housed off-site.
