Sheriff's office calling people on jury questionnaires

Hill County Sheriff’s Office said in a release this morning that they will be making phone calls to the public, attempting to notify and serve several people who have not returned their juror notification questionnaire from Hill County courts.

The release said these are not prank calls or scams. Sheriff’s office staff will simply ask people who haven’t turned in their form or answered their questionnaire to pick up the questionnaire, and respond to it immediately. Following that initial phone call, the sheriff’s office will then attempt to serve non-responding jurors, the release said.
