Havre Public Works announced that, as approved by Havre City Council, it will be adding stop signs on Second Street West by the North Central Senior Center.

"Havre, we will be changing an intersection into a four-way stop next week," a release from the department said.

The intersection of Montana Avenue and Second Street will become a four-way stop.

Stop signs are in place on Montana Avenue at its intersection with Second Street West, but, as of next week, to assist foot traffic in the area, the traffic on Second Street will also be required to stop at the intersection, the release said.

The release said people can watch the department's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/HavrePublicWorks for more information.

"We will provide more updates as to the exact dates when the new stop signs will be in place, so keep an eye on this page and let your friends know as well," the release said.
