Havre Police Department

A caller from Third Avenue at 8:47 a.m. Friday reported finding a speaker.

After a report was made at the police department at 11:27 a.m. Friday that a woman was stealing gas cans, officers arrested Skylah Marie Morsette of Box Elder, 27, on charges of theft and criminal trespass to property.

Officers making a motor vehicle stop at 11:24 p.m. Friday on Assinniboine Avenue and 11th Street West arrested Zakary Kenneth Canning of Havre, 28, on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving without insurance, second offense, and reckless driving.

--

Officers making a motor vehicle stop at 10:27 a.m. Saturday on Second Street West arrested Jesse Lee Shoening of Havre, 34, on state District Court warrants.

--

Officers issued a written or verbal warning Saturday after a caller from a First Street West business at 12:29 p.m. reported a customer yelling at the employee.

--

Officers responding to a complaint at 12:45 a.m. Saturday from a First Street West establishment arrested Everett Dale Windyboy of Havre, 70, on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass to property.

--

Officers responding to a call reported at 7:14 p.m. Saturday people being at a vacant trailer arrested David Taylor Eagleman of Havre, 63, on charges of criminal trespass to property, open container in the city, and on Justice or City court warrants.

After a caller at 10:59 p.m. Saturday reported from the 600 Block of 14th Avenue that a man broke a locked door, officers arrested Christian Steven Azure of Havre, 21, on charges of resisting arrest, obstructing a peace officer or public servant and on 10 Justice or City court warrants.

Officers making a motor vehicle stop at 2:31 p.m. Sunday on the 1000 Block of First Street arrested Micheal Scott Morsette of Havre, 40, for driving wth no drivers license and on six Justice or City court warrants.

After a man took off on foot when an officer investigated suspicious activity by a business on the 1500 Block of U.S. Highway 2 East, officers issued a summons to Chad Allen Wagner of Havre, 27, on a charge of obstructing a peace officer.

--

After a caller reported at 3:27 p.m. Sunday from Second Street that a boy was trying to break a door down, officers issued a summons to a 10-year-old on a charge of partner or family member assault.

--

Officers issued a written or verbal warning after a caller reported at at 5:50 p.m. Sunday from Third Street that people were letting a dog run around.

--

Officers issued a written or verbal warning after people from Second Street at 9:58 p.m. Sunday reported that people were making a shelter in the alley.

--

Officers arrested Martin Duane Flying Jr. of Havre, 31, at 8:01 a.m. Monday on a charge of criminal contempt related to being late for a 24/7 sobriety program appointment.

After a caller from a First Street business reported a theft that occurred on Aug. 30, officers issued a summons to Skylah Marie Morsette of Box Elder, 27, at 9:22 a.m. Monday on a charge of theft by shoplifting.

--

Officers issued a written or verbal warning after a caller at 7:44 p.m. Monday complained about an aggressive dog on 11th Street West.

--

Officers issued a written or verbal warning after a caller at 11:38 p.m. Monday on Assinniboine Avenue complained that a car ran through a backyard.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

After receiving a call from a U.S. Highway 2 West business at 10:55 a.m. Friday reporting trespassing, deputies arrested Skylah Marie Morsette of Box Elder, 27, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and on four Justice or City court warrants.

Deputies served three Justice or City court warrants on Robert James Cantrell of Box Elder, 49, at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Hill County Detention Center.

After a caller from a residence on the 500 Block of 15th Avenue North requested at 10:41 a.m. that a man be removed, deputies arrested Neal Wayne Anderson of Havre, 64, on a charge of disorderly conduct.

--

After an assault was reported at 6:59 p.m. Saturday at the Hill County Detention Center, deputies attested Neal Wayne Harris of Havre, 64, an a charge of assault.

Fire Department

Havre emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Saturday, two calls Sunday, and six calls Monday.

Firefighters responded to a fire call on the 900 82nd Ave. at 1:08 p.m. Saturday and extinguished a fire at an illegal fire pit.

Firefighters responded to a fire alarm at 7:02 Monday on Third Street West, but no fire was found.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four female cats, four male cats, three cats of unknown gender, three 3-week old kittens of unknown gender. one male and one female 18-week-old kittens and two male kittens.

The shelter this morning held a male hound, a male border collie seven female mixed-breed dogs, a female St. Bernard, two female seven-month-old puppies, a 14-week-old mixed-breed pupy, two 14-week-old female mixed-breed puppies, five male 17-week-old mixed-breed puppies and four female 17-week-old mixed-breed puppies.

A male mixed-breed dog was being fostered off-site.
