Officers investigated a report of theft, forgery or fraud made at the police station at 6:25 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers making a motor vehicle stop at 9:55 a.m. on 16th Avenue arrested Sashay Joe Standing Rock of Box Elder, 44, on a Justice or City court warrant.

Officers responding to a call from Havre High School at 12:19 p.m. Wednesday issued summonses to a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old on charges of purchase or possession of intoxicating substances by a minor.

Officers provided assistance after receiving a report at 2:17 p.m. Wednesday of a vehicle on the side of 13th Street West on the hill with its flashers on.

Officers assisting another agency arrested Thomas James Jones of Havre, 38, on Justice or City court warrants.

Officers issued a written or verbal warning after a caller from 10th Street West at 3:37 p.m. Wednesday reported a neighbor's dogs are often out and are aggressive.

Officers issued a written or verbal warning after a caller from 2nd Street Northeast reported a woman who refused to leave a residence.

Officers investigated a report made from 12th Street West and Cleveland Avenue at 8:32 p.m. Wednesday that a person on a scooter hit the side of a vehicle.

Officers investigated an crash after a person on Fifth Avenue waved an officer down at 8:36 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers issued a summons to a 15-year-old on a charge of theft after a caller from Beaver Creek Boulevard and 20th Street reported at 9:20 p.m. that a phone had been stolen.

Hill County Sheriff

Deputies issued a written or verbal warning after making a motor vehicle stop on 11th Street West and Boulevard Avenue at 9:43 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers issued a written or verbal warning after investigating suspicious activity at the landfill east of Havre.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to seven calls Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three female cat; four male cats; three cats of unknown gender; three 3-week-old kittens of unknown gender; two female kittens, one 17 weeks old and one 9 months old; a 17-week-old male kitten, and two 15-week old male kittens.

The shelter also held a male border collie, a female German shepherd, four female mixed-breed dogs, a male mixed-bred dog, a female St. Bernard, two female 6-month-old St. Bernard puppies, a male and a female 10-week-old mixed breed puppies, a male and two female mixed-breed puppies, and five male and four female 16-week-old mixed-breed puppies.

Six 11-week-old puppies, five male and one female, were being held off-site, as was a male mixed-breed dog.
