Local News - Community orchestra and choir starting

Local musicians and singers are invited to join the new seasons of the community orchestra and the community choir.

Tuesday marks the start of fall rehearsals for MSU-N Community Orchestra, 6:30-8:30 p.m., in Room 208 of Pershing Hall at Montana State University-Northern. This year, the orchestra will be a jazz orchestra.

MSU-N Community Choir fall rehearsals begin Monday, Sept. 11, 7-9 p.m., at the same location.

Organizer of both groups, Carol Reifschneider, said all interested musicians and singers are invited to attend the rehearsals. Public performances will be scheduled at a later date.
