Havre Police Department

A Havre-area caller asked Friday at 9:13 a.m. to speak with an officer about a possible check fraud.

A summons was issued after a caller at Havre High School reported a vape pen on the premises Friday at 10:10 a.m. No information on the charges was provided.

--

Jacquline Colleen Chiefstick of Box Elder, 43, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault and on 13 Justice or City court warrants after a Second Street caller reported a friend was involved in a domestic disturbance Saturday at 2:29 p.m.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Saturday 5:40 p.m. caller at Havre Skate Park reported that their child's friend had beaten up.

A counterfeit $100 bill was reported Saturday at 8:43 p.m. at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business.

Jeff Michael Ripley of Great Falls, 20, and Hunter Allen Smith of Havre, 19, were each arrested on a charge of minor in possession and Kieran Allen White of Inverness, 23, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller at a First Street establishment reported a man with a bottle in a vehicle Saturday at 11:36 p.m.

Tristin Duane Gone of Havre, 26, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, failure to carry proof of vehicle insurance and other traffic crime after a vehicle stop on First Street Sunday at 1:21 a.m.

A 10-year-old Havre boy was issued a summons on a charge of partner or family member assault after a Second Street caller reported a domestic disturbance Sunday at 10:53 a.m.

Neal Wayne Anderson of Havre, 64, was arrested on a trespass to property charge after a Fifth Street caller reported Sunday at 11:47 a.m. finding a man trespassing in the caller's yard.

A past theft was reported at a First Street business Sunday at 4:05 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller asked Saturday at 10:52 a.m. for assistance with a property dispute on County Road 34 South.

An arrest was made after a Saturday 1:56 p.m. caller on U.S. Highway 87 reported a hitchhiker who was barely off the road. No details on charges were provided.

Lana Standing Chief of Havre, 42, was arrested on five Justice or City court warrants served at Hill County Detention Center Saturday at 2:07 p.m.

Isiah Standingrock of Box Elder, 32, was arrested on charges of fleeing or eluding a peace officer, careless driving, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and no vehicle insurance and on a federal warrant and two Justice or City court warrants after deputies were called Saturday at 2:30 p.m. to assist Rocky Boy Police Department with a vehicle chase near Laredo Road. Hill County Undersheriff Stan Martin said Rocky Boy police successfully deployed stop sticks south of Box Elder. Standingrock continued at a low speed out into the West Bench area west of Box Elder where Hill County deputies joined the chase, Martin said. The suspect lost control of the vehicle on a two-track road and high-centered in a ditch where law enforcement officers talked him into surrendering, Martin added. Deputies and FBI agents followup Sunday at 1:19 p.m. with a search of Standingrock's vehicle. Martin said contraband was found in the search and charges may be pending on that along with possible federal charges.

A caller at the hospital reported an animal control issue Sunday at 11:58 a.m.

Megan Christina Lowrance of Havre, 37, was issued a summons on a vandalism charge after a Seventh Avenue North caller reported vandalism Sunday at 8:42 p.m.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at Optimist Park at 2:04 a.m. today.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to nine calls Friday, 11 calls Saturday and two calls Sunday.

Firefighters responded to a gas odor call Friday at 8:27 a.m. on the 1000 Block of 22nd Avenue West, where no gas was detected.

Firefighters responded to a fire on the 1000 Block of Wilson Avenue Saturday at 11:04 p.m. where residents had used fire to eradicate a wasp nest earlier in the day and remnants of this fire had smoldered in hay bales under a cement porch until they caught fire. Damage to the structure was limited to the cement porch. Firefighters had to break through the cement to get to the burning hay bales.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three cats, one 21-week-old kitten and four 2-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, three female cats, five kittens between 14 weeks and 9 months old, and four male cats.

The shelter also held three 13-week-old puppies, two male dogs, four female dogs, an 8-month-old puppy, two 10-week-old puppies and nine 16-week-old puppies. Additionally, six 11-week-old mixed breed puppies and a male dog were being housed off-site.
