Havre police look for info in high-speed chase

Havre police are looking for information about a high-speed chase down First Street in Havre.

A release said that officers attempted to contact at about 10:24 this morning the driver of a white Dodge Charger that is suspected of being involved in an ongoing theft and criminal mischief investigation.

The driver fled in the vehicle and led officers on a high-speed chase down First Street. Officers followed the vehicle onto U.S. Highway 2 but eventually ended pursuit due to safety concerns, the release said.

The vehicle later was located on the 1200 Block of Second Street in Havre and impounded.
