Havre Police Department

Lana Belgarde Saddler of Box Elder, 53, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence after contacting police Monday at 11:34 a.m.

A caller reported Monday at 2:32 p.m. that their laundry was stolen from a First Street laundromat.

Gary Clayton Standingchief Jr. of Havre was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer of other public servant, probation violation and on six Justice or City court warrants after a Third Street caller reported finding a man on the back porch at 3:04 p.m. Monday.

A summons was issued after a Fifth Street caller reported Monday at 4:48 p.m. that two large dogs that were running loose bit the caller's dog. No details on charges were provided.

A theft was reported at a First Street business Monday at 5:02 p.m.

An arrest was made after a Second Street caller reported at 5:29 p.m. Monday that a friend's garage had been broken into. No details were provided in the police log, but Alaynah Dyanne Gary, who was named as an involved party, was listed in the Tuesday jail roster as being held on charges of trespass, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Moses Lee Bigknife of Havre, 22, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants after a Monday 8:37 p.m. caller reported a man sleeping the steps at a 15th Avenue location. Bigknife was, at 10:07 p.m. transported to the hospital and back to the detention center.

Josephine Olethea Arkinson of Box Elder, 41, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and on a disorderly conduct charge after a Third Street caller reported a woman in the caller's living room yelling.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported on Fifth Avenue North Monday at 10:10 a.m.

A set of keys found by a caller on County Road 637 West reported Monday at 10:58 a.m. finding a pair of keys while out walking.

Two arrests were made after a complaint on Second Street Monday at 8:24 p.m. No details on charges were provided.

A caller at Rotary Campground reported Monday at 9:10 p.m. that a camper was vandalized and items stolen.

Flint Walker Blackwolf of Box Elder, 35, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants served at the detention center Monday at 9:51 p.m.

Montana Highway Patrol

A vehicle crash with an injury was reported Monday evening on U.S. Highway 2 near mile marker 408 west of Chinook. Troopers responded at 6:03 p.m., but no one was made available to provide further information on the crash.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to seven calls Monday and one early Tuesday.

Firefighters responded Monday at 4:07 p.m. to a good intent call on the 1100 Block of Third Street North to help with a cat in a tree.

Firefighters also responded Monday at 7:08 p.m. to a fire report on U.S. Highway 2 near mile marker 385 where they found railroad ties on fire. The fire was contained to the immediate area, and no cause of the fire was identified, Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter Tuesday morning held two cats and two 21-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, six male cats, two female cats and two 11-week-old kittens. Additionally, two 13-week-old kittens were being housed off-site.

The shelter also held five female dogs, two male dogs and six puppies from 16 weeks to 7 months old. Additionally, a male dog was being housed off-site.
