Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte was in Havre Wednesday to meet with local business owners Justin Aikins and Sarah McKinney of the Hi-Line Motel and with Havre High School students who recently finished decorative paintings in the motel's courtyard.

Gianforte, who is in the midst of his "56 County Tour" made a number of stops in this area Wednesday, including in Chinook, Fort Belknap and Rocky Boy, Box Elder, Fort Benton, Chester and Shelby, meeting with tribal councils, veterans groups, schools and local businesses.

While Gianforte was at the Hi-Line Motel meeting and having lunch with motel staff, local officials and residents and the Havre High students, Montana First Lady Susan Gianforte was at Havre-Hill County Library reading to local children and promoting the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, which is now statewide.
