Griz ready to put on a show with televised fall schedule

Just like the Montana State Bobcats announced a couple of weeks ago, the Montana Grizzlies have pretty much finalized kickoff times for the upcoming 2023 season. And those times include a pair of games under the lights of Washington-Grizzly Stadium.

Montana's TV schedule has also been finalized. UM will have 10 of its 11 games televised, with the exception being Utah Tech. ESPN2 will broadcast the game against Idaho, SWX will have Butler and Ferris State, and MTN will show all Big Sky games aside from Idaho. All games can be streamed on ESPN+, except for Idaho, which can be streamed on the ESPN App.

The Griz will play a total of six night games in 2023, with the home game against Sacramento State Nov. 4 set to be played under the lights at Washington-Grizzly Stadium at 6 p.m. The nonconference home game against Ferris State Sept. 16 is also set to kickoff at 6 p.m.

On the road, Montana will play at night against Utah Tech Sept. 9 (7 p.m. MT), UC Davis Oct. 7 (5 p.m. MT), Idaho Oct. 14 (8:30 p.m. MT), and Portland State Nov. 11 (8 p.m. MT).

The Grizzlies open the season against Butler Sept. 2 at noon in Missoula. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. Mountain Time at Northern Arizona Sept. 23 and at home against Idaho State Sept. 30 for homecoming. UM's home game against Northern Colorado is set for 1 p.m. Oct. 28.

The 122nd edition of the Brawl of the Wild against Montana State is set for noon Nov. 18 in Missoula.
