Havre in the middle of street repair projects

Havre Public Works is in the middle of project doing street repairs in the following sections of town.

• 11th Street from 12th to 14th Avenue;

• 16th street from Sixth to Ninth Avenue; and the area from

• Fifth street to 17th street between Fifth Avenue and 14th Avenue.

The crews will be doing hand patching as well as doing larger repairs on previous water break holes. Public Works asks that people who live in these neighborhoods and have a vehicle that is parked on the street have it moved to allow our crews full access to the areas involved.

“This is also a reminder to please use caution when driving,” a post on the department’s Facebook page said. “If there are barricades, please find an alternate route and plan accordingly. For the safety of our crews, as well as the safety of your vehicle, do not go around or through the barricades.”
