William Joe Skidmore of Havre, 42, was arrested on charges of theft, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and trespass to property and on six Justice or City court warrants when officers initiated investigation of suspicious activity after a man took off running on Second Street at 12:35 p.m. Saturday. Also related to this incident is a 12:36 p.m. call from Second Street that a bike was stolen from the caller's yard.

Samantha Brooke Johnson of Havre, 28, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants after a vehicle stop on Fifth Avenue at 3:06 a.m. Sunday.
Hill County Sheriff's Office
Deputies responded Friday at 5:44 p.m. to help Havre Fire Department at a fire reported at Old Post Road and U.S. Highway 87.

Rylee Sutherland of Box Elder, 19, and Jaydence Molina of Box Elder, 18, were each issued a summons on charges of shoplifting a vandalism after a theft was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business Friday at 8:43 p.m.

Reyes Jiron of Havre, 58, was arrested on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and failure to carry or produce proof of vehicle insurance after a vehicle stop at 14th Avenue and the Third Street alley at 12:34 p.m. Saturday.

Alanna Jordan Rainingbird of Harlem, 31, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant during a vehicle stop at the county dump Sunday at 8:41 p.m.

Jaylene Rae Pinkerton of Hardin, 49, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a 12:39 p.m. Sunday caller reported a woman walking on Beaver Creek Highway.
Montana Highway Patrol
Troopers responded to a vehicle fire Saturday at 11:23 a.m. on U.S. Highway 87 at mile marker 90 near Box Elder.
Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Saturday and six call Sunday.

Firefighters responded to a grass fire reported Friday at 5:40 p.m. at Old Post Road and U.S. Highway 87. Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said the fire was out by the time they were on scene after people stopped at the scene an put out the fire. The cause of the fire, which was contained to about 300 square feet, is unknown, he added, but they suspect a spark from a vehicle.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held one cat of unknown gender, three female cats, five male cats and six 7-week-old kittens.

The shelter also held four female dogs, three male dogs and 11 puppies from 11 weeks to 11 months old. Additionally, a male dog was being housed off-site.
