Hi-Line Amateur Radio Club members William Rima, left, and Brett Moen, right, with the help of Moen's father, Phil Moen, set up a radio transmitter in Veterans Memorial Park on 11th Street West Saturday. The club participated in the American Radio Relay League ham radio field day from noon Saturday to noon Sunday, trying to make as many contacts as possible and inviting the public to come watch and participate. The event went well, the club said, despite a rainstorm Saturday putting a temporary damper on activities.
