Summer meals start at Havre schools

The summer meal program is underway at Havre schools, with free breakfast and lunch served to anyone 18 and younger with the meals available to adults at a charge of $3 for breakfast and $5 for lunch, with extra milk available for 50 cents.

The meals are served at Highland Park Early Primary School, Lincoln-McKinley Primary School and Sunnyside Intermediate School.

The breakfasts are served 8:30-10:30 a.m. and lunches are served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The breakfast menu for next week is:

Monday: Waffle, sausage, fruit, milk

Tuesday: Donut, yogurt, fruit, milk

Wednesday: Pancake wrap, fruit, milk

Thursday: Banana bread, yogurt, fruit, milk

Friday: Cereal, breakfast bar, fruit milk

The lunch menu for next week is:

Monday: Cheeseburger, potato chips, fruit, milk

Tuesday: Quesadilla, rice, fruit, milk

Wednesday: Pizza, carrot sticks, fruit, milk

Thursday: Chicken nuggets, french fries, fruit, milk

Friday: Corn dog, macaroni and cheese, fruit, milk.
