The high Wednesday was 70, a bit colder than the normal value of 77.
Highs are expected to primarily be in the mid to upper 70s in this area through early next week, with lows mainly in the 50s.
The forecast says the area has a chance of showers and thundershowers this afternoon with showers and possibly thundershowers likely after 4 p.m. Showers and thunderstorms are likely before midnight with a chance of thunderstorms and showers after midnight.
Showers and thunderstorms also are possible Saturday, though Sunday morning is expected to see some sunshine in the morning before clouds and a chance of showers comes back in the afternoon and evening, running through Monday.
The forecast for Tuesday through Thursday includes a chance of showers or showers and thunderstorms each day.
