Havre Police Department

Angel Rose Gilead of Havre, 21, was issued a summons on a criminal contempt charge at the police station Wednesday at 8 a.m.

Davis William Cravens of St. Marie, 26, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant at Havre City Court at 11:34 a.m. Wednesday.

A Wednesday 4:37 p.m. caller reported a theft from a Third Street porch.

--

A beer theft was reported at a First Street business at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday.

Colorado James McConnell of Havre, 24, was arrested on charges of trespass to property and disorderly conduct after a First Street Northeast caller reported a domestic disturbance outside Wednesday at 6:28 p.m.

A bicycle was reported Wednesday at 7:45 p.m. left on the sidewalk on Sixth Avenue.

Someone stopped at the police station Wednesday at 9:04 p.m. asking to speak with an officer.

An arrest was made after a caller on Second Street reported a disturbance Wednesday at 9:13 p.m. No details on charges were available in the dispatch log, but Josephine Olethea Arkinson, who was named as an involved party, was listed in the jail roster this morning as being held on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Two minors were issued summonses on charges of minor in possession related to a 12:36 a.m. Thursday report of a vehicle-train crash in Rudyard.

Montana Highway Patrol

Montana Highway Patrol was called Thursday at 12:36 a.m. to a crash in Rudyard involving a vehicle with three occupants and a BNSF Railway freight train that was traveling on the tracks. Trooper Matt Erickson said the adult male driver of the vehicle failed to yield the right of way at the crossing and hit the side of the train. The driver and passengers sustained minor injuries and did not require transport to medical care, and no one on the train was injured. The vehicle was totaled but the train had minor damage. Jake Barber was charged with driving under the influence, Erickson said, and deputies issued each minor a summons on a charge of MIP.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Wednesday and two calls Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three female cats, nine male cats and seven kittens between 5 and 12 weeks old.

The shelter also held four female dogs, three male dogs and six puppies from 11 weeks to 10 months old. Additionally, a 20-week-old puppy and a dog were being housed off-site.
