Tim was born February 24, 1964, in Livingston, Montana. His parents, Wilbur and Marlese (McLaughlin) Schwartzkopf, raised him in Livingston, and he graduated from Park High School in 1983. The family relocated to Havre in the mid-80s, and Tim met Kelly Schroeder in 1988. The couple married in 1989, and they had three children. Tim worked hard, first in various food service positions, then as the night auditor at the Townhouse Inn, before moving to Havre Laundry in 2007, where he remained for eleven years. In 2018, he began working for Walmart, a position he held until his death.

Tim was an outgoing, kind-hearted man who adored his family. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and he enjoyed yardwork, and playing softball and darts. Watching his sons in their various endeavors was very important to him. He had a fantastic sense of humor, and was always upbeat whenever you would see him.

He was preceded in death by his son Joshua John Schwartzkopf; father, Wilbur Schwartzkopf; and brother Cory Marsh.

Tim is survived by his wife, Kelly Schwartzkopf, of Havre; sons, TJ and Arron Schwartzkopf, of Havre; mother, Marlese Marsh of Livingston; sister, Lorrie (Brent) Bull of Livingston; brothers Darin Schwartzkopf of Laurel and Jamie (Terra) Marsh of Livingston; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family, and many, many friends.
