Havre Police Department

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business reported Thursday at 9:47 a.m. that their vehicle had been keyed.

Amanda Rae Martin of Havre, 34, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at the probation and parole office on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest at 10:53 p.m. Thursday.

Prescription medication was found on Fourth Street at 10:56 a.m. Thursday and the owner was located.

--

A juvenile on Second Street asked Thursday at 11:50 a.m. for assistance getting out of a pair of handcuffs.

--

Someone stopped at the police station Thursday at 11:57 a.m. to report a fraud incident.

--

At 11:59 a.m. Thursday a caller reported a shed was broken into and two weed cutters and a lawnmower stolen.

Kenneth Eugene Wood of Havre, 58, was issued a summons on charges of dog at large and other public safety issue after a caller on Second Street reported getting attacked by a dog Thursday at 12:19 a.m.

A two-vehicle crash was reported on First Street a 1:32 p.m. Thursday.

Colorado James McConnell of Havre, 24, had a summons issued on charges of partner or family member assault, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and resisting arrest after a 10th Street caller reported Thursday at 1:52 p.m. a family member had been assaulted, and officers arrested McConnell on those charges Thursday at 4:57 p.m. on Third Street.

A Thursday 3:07 p.m. report from a First Street business of video showing a drug deal was referred to another law enforcement agency.

A caller on 13th Street reported Thursday at 3:41 p.m. that a vehicle struck a tree.

--

A caller reported Thursday at 3:41 p.m. finding one of their stolen saddles at a business on First Street West but was advised they needed to call Rocky Boy Police who had jurisdiction on the case.

A 5:14 p.m. Thursday caller on Third Avenue reported a possible drug offense involving a suspicious bag.

--

Someone stopped at the police station Thursday at 6:32 p.m. to report a phone and wallet had been stolen.

--

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Third Street caller reported Thursday at 7:32 p.m. two juveniles were shooting each other in the back with a BB gun.

A Fourth Street caller reported Thursday at 9:41 p.m. that a debit card and car had been stolen.

--

Sheron Faye Saddler of Box Elder, 28, was arrested on nine Justice or City court warrants; Adam James Swan, of Havre, 36, was arrested on one Justice or City court warrant, and Flint Walker Blackwolf of Box Elder, 35, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a disturbance was reported on Second Street at 12:59 a.m. today.

A 2:11 a.m. call today from a woman saying she needed help but couldn't recall details of her location or her name was referred to a service agency.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Desirea Lee Writingbird of Box Elder, 42, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, trespass to property and shoplifting after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business made a complaint at 5 p.m. Thursday.

Thomas Romero of Hingham, 37, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants after a caller in Hingham reported Thursday at 7:41 p.m. hearing people arguing, crashing noises and a woman was asking someone to stop.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Thursday and one call early this morning. Firefighters accompanied EMTs to the 3:16 p.m. call to the 10 Block of 13th Street West to provide assistance.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four female cats, 10 male cats and seven kittens between 4 and 11 weeks old.

The shelter also held four female dogs, three male dogs and six puppies from 10 weeks to 10 months old. Additionally, a 20-week-old puppy and a dog were being housed off-site.
