Water rushes down Beaver Creek in Beaver Creek Park in the Bear Paw Mountains. Lots of snow and plenty of April and June rains have raised water levels in the area after several years of drought conditions, with a U.S. Drought Monitor release today showing a patch of abnormally dry conditions in the middle parts of Hill and Blaine counties, but no drought conditios shown. A patch of drought west of Liberty County includes a patch of abnormally dry conditions listed on the eastern edge of the county and a tiny patch of moderate drought coming in from Toole County, but, other than those areas, this part of north-central Montana is listed as having no drought conditions.
