Cyrilla Louise Burrows of Chester, 83, passed away Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023, at Logan Health in Chester.
The viewing for Cyrilla will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 16th, 2023, and the service will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chester. The burial will follow the service in the Chester Cemetery.
Cyrilla was born October 25th, 1939, to Clinton and Matilda "Tillie" Evans at the hospital in Havre. She was raised in Rudyard and graduated from Rudyard High School. Cyrilla grew up in a family of 12 children aka "the Evans 12 pack."
Cyrilla married Richard Burrows July 22nd, 1960. They were married for 62 years and raised three children, Travis, Lisa, and Crockett.
At a young age, Cyrilla worked at the Evan's Café and Sanvik's in Rudyard. Later Cyrilla began working as a mail contractor for the postal service and delivered mail south of Chester for 42 years. Cyrilla also cooked at the Wagon Wheel and the Tasty Freeze.
Cyrilla was always very kind and friendly. She had a strong long and deep devotion to her family. She loved talking about the family's genealogy and remembered every connection on the family tree. Cyrilla always looked forward to family events and cherished every conversation with friends and loved ones.
Cyrilla is preceded in death by her father and mother, Clinton and Tillie Evans; brother Tiger; sisters Mary-Ann and Gloria; granddaughter, Casey-Jo; and numerous relatives.
Cyrilla is survived by her husband, Richard; sons, Travis and Crockett; daughter, Lisa; grandchildren, Candance and Harley; brothers Clinton (Joan), Eugene, Bill (Karan); sisters Arliss, Valorie (Mike), Teresa (Mike), Nicky (Gary) Julie (Dan); sisters-in-law Lolly, Diana (Kerry); and many amazing family members and loved ones.
