Havre Police Department

A Ninth Avenue caller reported Thursday at 12:27 p.m. that a tenant was beat up by their partner.

A two-vehicle crash with an injury was reported at 14th Avenue and Second Street at 1:21 p.m. Thursday.

--

A red truck crashed into a tree at Sixth Avenue and Sixth Street Thursday at 1:52 p.m.

--

A caller on Fifth Avenue reported Thursday at 3:37 p.m. that a pit bull mix that jumped out the window is running around without a leash on.

Leona Marie Chiefstick of Box Elder, 56, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller at a Third Avenue business reported Thursday at 5:08 p.m. that a woman was passed out between a garage and fence.

Officers investigated a Thursday 6:13 p.m. complaint of tires getting slashed on First Avenue.

--

Thursday at 7:12 p.m. on Fourth Street, officers initiated an investigation related to an assault.

--

Officers assisted another agency with an investigation at the hospital at 2:19 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported Thursday at 9:51 a.m. at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Deputies responded at 1:23 a.m. today to a U.S. Highway 87 establishment in Box Eder where an injured woman was reported hit by a car.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to seven calls Thursday and three calls early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a repot of a gas leak on the 400 Block of Seventh Avenue North at 10:52 a.m. Thursday.

--

Firefighters provided standby and traffic control at two vehicle crashes Thursday, one at 1:24 p.m. on the 1400 Block of Second Street and the other on the 600 Block of Sixth Street at 1:54 p.m.

A fire alarm, set off by steam from a shower, had to be reset by firefighters on the 800 Block of Fourth Street at 6:47 p.m. Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 8-week-old kittens of unknown gender, four female cats and seven male cats.

The shelter also held seven dogs, three 10-week-old puppies, and four puppies from 14 weeks to 10 months old. Additionally, a female 17-week-old puppy, a female 11-week-old puppy and a male dog were being housed off-site.
