Havre Police Department

A two-vehicle crash in which a driver backed into another vehicle in a parking lot on Fifth Avenue was reported Wednesday at 12:01 p.m.

Michael Steven Schoening of Havre, 38, was arrested on a state District Court warrant, four Justice or City court warrants and a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after a Second Street caller asked Wednesday at 1:09 p.m. for assistance with a man in a residence.

Tara Marie Syverson of Havre, 45, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after an abandoned 911 call from the 11th Street West area Wednesday at 4:21 p.m., a report of a disturbance on Cleveland Avenue at 4:23 p.m. and a vehicle stop on 11th Street West at 4:55 p.m.

A two-vehicle crash was reported on First Street West at 5:53 p.m. Wednesday.

A dog bite incident was reported Wednesday at 6:17 p.m. on Smithville Road.

An arrest was made while officers were assisting with a medical call at First Street and Fifth Avenue at 6:23 p.m. Wednesday. No details on charges were provided in the dispatch log, but Gordon James Bacon, who was named as an involved party, was listed in this morning's jail roster as being held on a theft charge.

A Wednesday 7:09 p.m. caller at a First Street business reported a case full of drug paraphernalia.

Justin Radim Jezek of Havre, 40, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property after a Third Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 7:22 p.m. that a suspicious man had come to the door and then returned at 7:49 p.m.

A Seventh Avenue caller reported finding a kid's bike and a skateboard Wednesday at 7:59 p.m.

Angel Gilead of Havre, 21, was arrested on a charge of resisting arrest and on three Justice or City court warrants after a Second Street caller reported Wednesday at 11:45 p.m. hearing people in a vacant home.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Loreal Stanley of Box Elder, 29, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants after a Wednesday 11:01 a.m. transport from Rocky Boy Detention Center to Hill County Detention Center.

Deputies investigated a Wednesday 10:14 p.m. complaint on Fourth Street Northwest in Rudyard.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to six calls Wednesday and one call early this morning. The 3:45 p.m. Wednesday call on Fourth Street was in conjunction with firefighters on a good intent call.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 8-week-old kittens of unknown gender, four female cats and seven male cats.

The shelter also held seven dogs, three 9-week-old puppies, and five puppies from 14 weeks to 9 months old. Additionally, a female 16-week-old puppy, a female 11-week-old puppy and a male dog were being housed off-site.
