Cletus Edward Knowles of Havre, 42, was issued a summons on a nuisance dog charge after callers reported at 7:06 a.m. Wednesday that a dog had been barking all morning on Saddle Butte Drive.

Charles Randy Walker of Harlem, 72, was arrested on a charge of theft after a theft was reported at a First Street West business at 7:35 a.m. Wednesday.

Amari Love Longknife of Havre, 18, was issued a summons on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program no-show reported Wednesday at 8 a.m.

A hit and run, damaging a white Ford F150, was reported Wednesday at 11:14 a.m. at a First Street business.

A theft was reported on Sixth Street at 12:06 p.m. Wednesday.

Three 14-year-olds and a 13-year-old were each issued a summons on a trespass to property charge after a Wednesday 5:07 p.m. caller reported juveniles entering an abandoned building on 11th Street West.

Gary Monroe Proffit of Emigrant, 45, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault, assault and trespass to property after a 10th Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 8:22 p.m. that a man on something was fighting with the caller.

Joseph Richard Corcoran of Havre, 45, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and Heather Lena Marie Lamere of Havre, 28, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants after a Fifth Avenue caller reported suspicious activity involving a woman wearing a mask who came to the caller's door Wednesday at 8:23 p.m. and a follow-up report was made on the incident at the police station at 11 p.m.

Colen Shane of Box Elder, 25, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and disorderly conduct and Thomas Gregory Gardipee II of Havre, 22, was arrested on four Justice or City court warrants after a caller reported at 2:22 a.m. today that someone was trying to break into a business on Second Street.

Deputies investigated a theft, forgery or fraud report made from a First Street West business at 10:34 a.m. Wednesday

Deputies investigated a theft, forgery or fraud report made at the sheriff's office at 11:39 a.m. Wednesday.

A complaint made Wednesday at 1:44 p.m. on Second Street Northwest was investigated.

A written or verbal warning was issued after Havre Animal Shelter personnel reported neglected dogs in Box Elder Wednesday at 3:09 p.m.

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Wednesday.

The shelter this morning held four 7-week-old kittens of unknown gender, four female cats and six male cats.

The shelter also held six dogs, three 8-week-old puppies, and four puppies from 13 weeks to 9 months old. Additionally, a female 15-week-old puppy, a female 10-week-old puppy and a male dog were being housed off-site.
