Havre Police Department

A summons was issued after an assault was reported Thursday at 9:19 a.m. at Sunnyside Intermediate School. No details on charges were provided.

A summons was issued after a vape pen was reported at Havre High School Thursday at 1:04 p.m. No details on charges were provided.

The theft of a bike was reported Thursday at 6:29 p.m. on 10th Street West.

Larry James Reinowski of Havre, 67, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence, fleeing or eluding a peace officer and expired registration after a vehicle stop on Fifth Avenue at 7:34 p.m. Thursday.

Officers assisted with a medical call on Third Street at 10:55 p.m. Thursday.

Jean Rose Bear of Havre, 36, was arrested on charges of assault, trespass to property, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after a disturbance was reported at 12:30 a.m. today at a First Street establishment.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Ellie Anne Friede of Havre, 30, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and a charge of trespass to property after a 9:10 a.m. Thursday complaint from a business on 31st Avenue Northeast and a 9:18 a.m. vehicle stop in a neighboring parking lot.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Thursday and one call early this morning.

Firefighters responded to an alarm Thursday 12:12 p.m. call on Third Street but no fire was found.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held five 6-week-old kittens of unknown gender, four female cats and seven male cats.

The shelter also held six dogs, three 8-week-old puppies and three puppies from 8- to 9-months-old. Additionally, one female 9-week-old puppy and a male dog were being housed off-site.
