John Christopher McLean of Havre, 32, was arrested on a charge of DUI after a Seventh Street caller reported a tan vehicle on the curb with a man passed out behind the wheel, Sunday at 4:21 p.m.

A Sunday 7:21 p.m. caller on Third Street reported a grill guard was taken Thursday morning.

Malachi Lee McIntosh of Havre, 19, was arrested on charges of aggravated DUI and MIP after a First Street West caller reported someone passed out in their vehicle at 1:39 a.m. today.

Havre police also responded to eight calls, some possibly related, to people passed out or lying down on sidewalks and benches in the city Friday.

Havre Animal Control responded to several reports of dogs loose in the city during the 24-hour reporting period.
Hill County Sheriff's Office
A Friday 8:28 a.m. caller on 22nd Avenue West asked to speak with a deputy about a previous investigation.

A caller asked deputies Friday at 11:39 a.m. to perform a welfare check on someone on County Road 150 North.

A theft was reported Friday at 9:35 p.m. at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

A Saturday 1:47 p.m. caller on 22nd Avenue reported a prior break-in and burglary.

Waldron Jerome Bettelyoun of Rudyard, 44, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a caller Friday at 10:11 p.m. asked deputies to perform a welfare check on County Road 105 North of Rudyard, deputies made an investigation on the matter at 11:53 p.m. Friday and three callers reported Sunday at 10:44 p.m. someone was being chased by a truck on Road 6 North of Rudyard.
Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical technicians responded to five calls Friday, three calls Saturday, four calls Sunday and one call early this morning. Firefighters responded to a non-fire call Sunday at 11:32 a.m. on the 10 Block of 13th Street.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held seven male cats and three female cats.

The shelter also held eight mixed-breed dogs and seven mixed-breed puppies from 8-weeks- to 9-months-old. Additionally, one female 8-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a male mixed-breed dog were being housed off-site.
