Obituary - Scotty Dale Hendrickson

Scotty Dale Hendrickson, 59, was promoted to glory April 27, 2023 when he passed from this life to his eternal life after battling respiratory issues.

Scott was born December 12, 1963, in Havre, Montana. He attended Havre Public Schools and graduated from high school in 1982.

Scott lived and worked in Havre his entire life. He served others in customer service jobs, working at Short Stop for many years, and concluded his career of serving at PTI, transporting railroad workers.

Scott loved his wife and kids and was heartbroken when his youngest son, Dylan, passed away due to complications from his cancer treatments, almost two years ago.

He also loved football and Jesus. Scott was a Raiders fan, but his quest to own a jersey from every NFL team (except the Denver Broncos), often confused people about what team he actually rooted for. His favorite hobby during football season was playing Fantasy Football and he was very good at it, sometimes managing multiple teams.

Another favorite hobby was Pokemon Go. He liked to take possession of everyone's unused cellphones, so he could conduct raids all alone.

Scott and his family spent many years attending Christian concerts at Downpour Festival in Great Falls, Montana. The entire family was sad to see the annual festivals come to an end.

Scott was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Judy Matter, in 2019 and his son Dylan Hendrickson in 2021.

Scott is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jennifer Hendrickson; his oldest son, Joshua (Monica) Hendrickson; grandson, Cooper Hendrickson; granddaughters, Bella Eekhoff and Emery Hendrickson; his mother, Elva VanDessel; his father, Stan Hendrickson; brother, Rick Hendrickson, and many extended relatives.

Funeral services for Scott will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at the Assembly of God Church with Pastor Kevin Barsotti officiating. His burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Havre.

Memorial donations can be made in Scott's honor to Your Network of Praise or to a memorial of one's choice.
