Local quilter semifinalist in international quilt show

Karen Vosen from Havre has been juried in as a semifinalist for the 2023 American Quilt Show Week in Paducah, Kentucky, this week, April 26-29, 2023.

Her quilt Rosemaling is in the show.

"(American Quilter's Society) has a longstanding history of having the best in our contest," American Quilter's Society President Bill Schroeder said. "Just when we thin the quality of the quilts can't get any better, quilters step up the relativity even more and set a new standard of quilting. This year's contest is no exception, and these quilts are truly exceptional."

More than 400 quilts are entered in he Paducah show from all over the United States an 15 other countries.
