Emergency Medical technicians responded to three calls Tuesday and two calls early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a gas odor reported Tuesday at 4:43 p.m. on the 1900 Block of Second Street Northeast where no gas was detected

Firefighters responded Tuesday at 8:17 p.m. to a vehicle fire on the 1000 Block of Wilson Avenue where someone was working on a derby car. Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said the fire spread from the car to nearby grass, but all was extinguished. There was $1,800 damage reported.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held one 8-week-old kitten of unknown gender, seven male cats, four female cats and one male 23-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held nine mixed-breed dogs, a female 21-week old mixed breed puppy, a male 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy. Additionally, four 9-week-old shepherd puppies and a male mixed-breed dog were being housed off-site.
