Havre Police Department

Officers were asked Tuesday at 12:29 p.m. to provide assistance at Havre High School.

A possible sex offense was reported in the Havre area Tuesday at 12:30 p.m.

A written or verbal warning was issued after an injured dog was found Tuesday at 3:23 p.m. running loose on 11th Avenue.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a 12th Avenue caller reported someone was driving an ATV erratically at 3:32 p.m. Tuesday.

--

Raymond William Campbell of Havre, 27, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge on Second Street Tuesday at 5:34 p.m.

Officers investigated a vehicle fire on Wilson Avenue at 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's office dispatch log reported no arrests, summonses or investigations in the 24-hour reporting period.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency Medical technicians responded to three calls Tuesday and two calls early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a gas odor reported Tuesday at 4:43 p.m. on the 1900 Block of Second Street Northeast where no gas was detected

Firefighters responded Tuesday at 8:17 p.m. to a vehicle fire on the 1000 Block of Wilson Avenue where someone was working on a derby car. Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said the fire spread from the car to nearby grass, but all was extinguished. There was $1,800 damage reported.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one 8-week-old kitten of unknown gender, seven male cats, four female cats and one male 23-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held nine mixed-breed dogs, a female 21-week old mixed breed puppy, a male 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy. Additionally, four 9-week-old shepherd puppies and a male mixed-breed dog were being housed off-site.
