While flooding seems to have subsided on parts of the Hi-Line, a number of roads remain difficult to traverse and local road departments are working to address the issues.
While Lodge Creek has been flooding in certain areas, waters in Hill County at large were either receding or staying within safe levels as of last week.
On Monday Hill County DES Coordinator Amanda Frickel said water levels in the East Fork have risen since last week but are still at safe levels, but it looks like snow and ice in the Bear Paw Mountains is finally starting to melt.
As for the county roads, Inverness has the most road closures, including Road 50 South and 80 North as well as Road 30 North to 100 North and 15 North from 60 North to 100 North.
In Rudyard, 55 South and 180 North are closed as well as 115 South between mile markers 16 and 30.
In Hingham 190 North has water over the road and people are advised to use extreme caution.
The North Kremlin Chain of Lakes area is seeing closures, as well as 80 West.
North Havre’s Amos Trail South is damaged and closed in several areas and people are advised to use East Saint Joe Road West to Wild Horse.
The south end of Cottonwood Road is open but is closed as it continues north.
Cottonwood Bridge and the surrounding areas are completely closed to the public along with the Junction area
West Fork Road is open but people are advised to use extreme caution.
Road 30 North to 50 North in Gildford also has crews working on the roadway.
Frickel said these are subject to change as work continues.
At press deadline today, Havre Daily still was awaiting updates from Blaine County.
Calls to the Disaster and Emergency Services offices in Chouteau and Liberty counties had not been returned by printing deadline this morning.
