Havre track teams take first at Cal Wearley

This past Saturday at the Havre Middle School Track, the Cal Wearley Memorial Track Meet made its return. Many teams from across the Hi-Line came to compete against one on another across several events. But at the end of the day, the Havre High track and field teams reigned supreme as both the HHS boys and girls teams took first in their meets.

"We had a really good day. We had several kids qualify for state with some marks in the jumps and in some of the distance runs," HHS head coach Kari Filius said. "We ran very well and jumped very well so I'm super pleased. Everybody's improving and going in the right way."
